Green Hydrogen and a ship named Theseus.

Constantly changing, yet always the same. A repetitive interaction when certain things on this earth collide, leaving neither to ever be the same again
A chemical is a compound or substance that has been purified or prepared. The interactions of these chemicals is called chemistry. It happens all around us, almost constantly. You can get hydrogen by splitting h2O with electricity, this process is called electrolysis. You then have hydrogen as a gas and oxygen as a gas. Separately they are some of the most abundant elements on earth. Together they are the most important, we need water to survive. But when hydrogen is reunited with oxygen as a gas, it’s combustible. In theory, we can power electrolysis using renewable energies and then reunite hydrogen and oxygen to create combustion, which could in return spin a turbine. It’s no longer hydrogen or oxygen or water, it’s a ball of flames. But this interaction is quick, and intense.
The ship Theseus is an artifact in a museum. Over time its planks of wood rot and are replaced by new planks. When no original plank remains, is it still the ship Theseus? What if that ship was taken apart entirely to be transported to the Meuseum, then put back together again using the same planks. Perhaps a few new scratches or nails?

- Writers extended cut notes zach Snyder cut version note for the reader: I intend to dive deeper into green hydrogen, specifically electrolysis and how this technology is already used all around us. But i decided to kinda combine two blogs that gave me writers block and throw them together. Relate them somehow even tho it doesn’t make any sense at all.
